if you like the rs3m 2020, you won't be disappointed

listen. i'm a complete beginner to skewb. this cube arriving today was my very first experience holding and turning a skewb ever. i was hoping i'd like it, since it is hard to find video reviews online for this one. i have to say i'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

imagine the rs3m 2020, but as a skewb. that is what this cube delivers. the turning is smooth and quick, but not uncontrollable after getting used to the different way that it turns compared to a 3x3.

after adding lube and adjusting it to my liking, i am completely addicted to the turning feel of it. i learned beginners method quickly since you only need to know sledgehammer, and i'm just so pleased. this is a great product!

The caps came off a few times while solving

The caps are just friction fit on the skewb, and at least on mine, a couple of them are sort of loose out of the box. You can replace the yellow with black which I did, but the affected caps were a completely different edge piece. Not sure if mine was an exception to the norm, but mostly it's okay if you put the piece back in for a while. The magnets feel pretty good and it's a good price for what you get otherwise.
