Lengthy Process with Faulty Producs - Good End Result

This product has a 50% failure rating. However, if you do receive a fauly product, you can talk to the wonderful support team, and they will give you a replacement product free of charge (which they will check to see is functional)!

The product is wonderful - professional speedcube tier. Doesn't have the greatest corner cutting (barely does 45 degrees), but if you are using that much corner cutting then you most likely would appreciate this cube as it will help you with your turning accuracy.

The app is horrendous. I would only recommend using this cube with csTimer and cubeast (both are wonderful and have everything I have ever asked for).

Enjoyable effortless turning

- Opinion: Enjoyable effortless turning like it reads my mind. I can't tell that it's the smartcube version, except when a light blinks to connect it to the GAN CubeStation smartphone app. I love it so much that I also bought the non-smartcube version for when I don't want to be connected.
- Compared to other smartcubes I own:
Feels slightly better than the Mini version of this GAN 12 smartcube likely due to a different core mechanism.
Definite improvement over the GAN 356 i Carry (first version), which requires adapting to the unique feel of that smartcube.

Amazing speed/smart cube!

Out of the box, I was blow away by how good the base settings were. You do not need to change a thing. Just add some lube and you're good to go.

The 12 UI Freeplay has a nice "crunchy" feel, turns effortlessly, has sublime corner cutting, and telepathically snaps to perfectly alignment.

Coming from the 356 i3, there is no comparison. The i3 is super slow even on its fastest settings. In comparison to the 12 UI, the i3 feels like a toy!

The 12 UI Freeplay is even superior to the Gan 13M in my opinion.

In my opinion, the Cubestation app is not great. I exclusively use my 12 UI Freeplay with Cubeast and couldn't be happier!

It goes without saying that the price is bonkers for this thing, but honestly I don't think you can buy a better smart cube.
