came very dry and tight, turns feel rough

I don't know if I got a bad unit, but it came incredibly dry and incredibly tight. had I not had lube, it would unusuable. Even after lubing and loosening slightly, the outer layers still feel clackity not smooth, and inner/wide layers feel like they're rubbing hard against something inside

while the magnets are not weak per se, they don't feel substantial enough for me to feel comfortable loostening the cube any further

Since this item is considered to be a 'budget cube', the plastic quality is not as good as what you might find in a flagship 4x4 such as the AoSu, for example. With that being said, the MeiLong is a fan-favorite for the price and will improve with break-in!

It turns smoothly, has good magnets, and the price is good, but the corner cutting is not as good as my 3x3 from the same brand.
