I've had this cube for a while, as well as the 54mm maglev version, and I can say that this cube is a great choice for anyone: beginner or pro. The cube is already well lubed ootb, although Dayan tends to add too much lube to their cubes. The cube has a natural smoothness to it while still retaining some tactility as you can feel the turns while solving. Corner cutting is not a problem with this cube, as it does its job in actual solves so no problem there. The cube is also glossy plastic instead of UV or matte, which is nice because I prefer the glossy feeling of this cube in comparison to GANS' or MOYUS' UV coating. Also like how this cube comes in different sizes, as it gives more options for people who have smaller or bigger hands. This cube also has a hand adjustable tensioning system which is also handy when making adjustments on the fly. Lubed this cube up after the stock lube dried up, and it felt wonderful top turn. Been getting my best times with this cube and the WRMv10. Pricing is great so you should get this cube if you have the money for it since it's not that expensive :)
I went with the 55mm Maglev and it is truly amazing. This has been my main for the past month. Out of the box, it required zero setup. The cube is fast but stable. If you are looking for a high dollar cube with a nice price tag, the DaYan GuHong Pro 3x3 is a must have! Highly recommend!
For its price to quality, it is un matched. It was on sale for $ 12.99 and even not on sample at $20, this is an amazing value. It reminds me of the tornado v3. And actually I think I like this guhong pro better. It’s not up coated, but it seems almost like it is. I just use it stock and it’s perfect for me.
This cube is amazing!! Considering the price, you get a cube that is on-par with top flagship cubes priced >$45. Amazing turning, relatively quiet, and super fast feel.
this cube came soaked in factory lube (per usual) but after wiping it out and applying my own it was soooo good. Thanks to the maglev it's a super fast cube that is almost too fast at times but can be controlled nicely with thicker lubes. The magnets are quite strong which makes for a bumpy feel that I quite enjoy. I get great times on it as long as i make sure not to turn too wildly. The shades are a bit darker than your typical half brights so if that's your thing this is a great puzzle. Instant main.
