I had low expectations considering how many moving parts this has, but honestly, it's a smooth experience.
For the most part I rarely have lock ups from the sliding tiles. They're held in place nicely by the magnets. Sometimes if you try to speed solve the 2x2 portion you can slide a tile by accident, but otherwise it's good.
Feels nice and aligns itself well. I can't tell if it has magnets for that purpose, but it really helps to not lock up when turning considering it can't have corner cutting due to the tiles.
The solve is a lot of fun. Won't spoil the solution here, but it was pretty intuitive if you're familiar with both puzzles separately.
Overall a solid design and great puzzle. Will pick up the 3x3 in the future.
