So, I have been using this cube for a while, and it is so great! I don’t actually own it, I’m borrowing it until I get my RS3 V5, but he has let me borrow is for about a month now, and I just can’t get enough of it. The turning is suuuuuper smooth, and the Maglev makes is very quiet. Most of the lube I have put in is Stardust, Lunar, and Weight 5. I have got my PR with this cube, being 18.52 seconds. I'm really just getting into cubing, averaging just under a minute.
I started with a GAN I got as a gift. On the tightest settings, the GAN I have feels squishy so I wanted something tighter. Bought the Tornado V4, and it's my favorite. I haven't made any adjustments yet, just added a few drops of lube. It's got a tighter feel, it's heavier, but still moves quickly. This is kind of silly, but one of my favorite things is that it has a really nice sound as the turns slot into place.
It's just a very satisfying cube.
This is a fantastic Cube. I have been speed cubing for about 10 years and average about 15 seconds. I own 15 cubes from top brands and this one is now my main. My previous main was a Gan 12. Out of the Box, the Tornado V4 felt off and I could never get it adjusted quite right. I had all the dials at 1 and it still felt like it was too tight and i had the corner magnets maxed out and it still felt like I had no control. Luckily this cube aged incredibly. after a few hundred solves, it loosened up and is now my favorite by far. I was eventually able to control it well enough to dial back the corner magnets to a more comfortable setting. Now It is much faster than the Gan 12 and I have less lockups on it. I use the Martian lube with it as needed and that makes it even better. Overall this is a great cube. You wont regret this purchase, just give it a little time to break in.
