The Tornado V3 is a Legendary 3x3 for obvious reasons, many people consider it to be the best and there is a LOT of hype surrounding the Tornado line. Something needs to be addressed however, and it is the flaws of the cube and its weaknesses. This puzzle, along with the V4 which I have tried are NOT for everybody. The corner cutting even on the loosest setting is not great. And the cube can tend to have kind of a blocky and restricted feel that I find makes me lock up during certain algs. Anything below a 3 on travel distance tends to invite corner twists into solves. And on the V3 the magnets seem to like to adjust themselves.
I also need to mention. I do love this puzzle, I really enjoy the smoothness of the turning and feel like this cube is definitely a top choice... however I feel it is unjustified to only talk about the positives for the sake of hype.
The main thing to consider when looking at this puzzle or any other Tornado series puzzle is how flexible you like your cube to feel. The tornado has a fairly restricted and blocky turning style that suits more experienced cubers or people who prefer a more rigid puzzle very well. If you tend to prefer more flexible puzzles with more forgiving corner cutting and a little less stability I would consider a WRM 10 or a Dayan Guhong Pro.
Overall the Tornado V3 is a very solid cube, but the turning feel of the cube is VERY distinctive and caters highly towards accurate turning with minimal corner cutting. If you feel as if though those are qualities you can take full advantage of the Tornado line might be right up your alley. But you should definitely consider that before committing upwards of 40 dollars to a 3x3
