We are proud to say that as of the time of writing, SpeedCubeShop has not increased prices. Despite a significant increase in our operating costs, we are doing everything that we can to avoid passing on these costs to our customers.

Understanding Tariffs

Tariffs are an added charge applied to imported goods. Contrary to what some may believe, tariffs are paid by the importer, not the country of origin, and are usually passed along to the customer through increased prices.

Impact on SpeedCubeShop customers by Country

United States 🇺🇸

  • No impact. We are absorbing the 20% tariff on Chinese imports to our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • For orders shipping from our Canada warehouse to the United States - Don’t worry! There is no current tariff in place for Canada imports into the US.

Canada 🇨🇦

  • No impact. There is currently no tariff on Chinese imports to our warehouse in Ontario, Canada.
  • For orders that ship from our US warehouse to Canada - Don’t worry! The products we sell are not affected by the current 25% tariff on US imports into Canada.

Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, and the Rest of the World

  • No impact. SpeedCubeShop has not increased prices and there are no tariffs in place for shipments from our US or Canada warehouse into these countries.

Our Commitment to Cubers

While the future is uncertain, what is certain is our dedication to continuing to provide what we consider the best shopping experience in the industry.

We are monitoring the ongoing tariff situation and will update this post as necessary. We hope that tariffs on our imports into our US warehouse will not continue to increase, but if they do, we will do everything we can to keep our pricing competitive.

Being a small business during these times is far from easy and we want to be able to continue doing what we love, serving you. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.
